Jackson-Stops expands network with new directors
Jackson-Stops has strengthened its national presence with three new directors and the launch of offices in Cheltenham and Oundle.
Chris Jarrett joins after 13 years at Savills, leading the new Cheltenham office. Marcus Browne takes over the Taunton office, bringing experience from Knight Frank, Strutt & Parker and Savills. Meanwhile, Brendan May will open the Oundle office, leveraging his background in estate agency and business coaching.
Chris said: “In the competitive world of estate agency, brand strength is everything.
“Jackson-Stops stands out as an undoubtedly top-tier brand that offers agents the perfect combination of autonomy and brand recognition. This is precisely why I chose to join.
“The challenges of the current market have only reinforced the value of my decision.
“In a year marked by political and economic headwinds, I’m attracting fresh contacts who immediately recognise and respect the brand – something that's critically important in today's estate agency landscape.
“Joining Jackson-Stops wasn't just a career move – it was a strategic decision to elevate my professional potential and connect with a network that truly understands the modern estate agency landscape."
Jackson-Stops’ unique business model allows estate agents to establish and grow their own businesses under a prestigious national brand, offering support across marketing, finance and compliance.
Founded in 1910, the firm now has over 40 offices and continues to expand, providing opportunities for ambitious agents to join its network.
Nick Leeming, chairman at Jackson-Stops, added: "The recent additions of Chris, Marcus and Brendan to the Jackson-Stops network underscore the great opportunities for ambitious estate agents to join an established brand.
“Our unique group structure enables members to run their own business while accessing centralised resources, support and national brand visibility.
“We are particularly focused on expanding along the M4 corridor between Windsor and Bristol, seeking driven professionals specialising in mid to higher-value country markets.
“Estate agents operating in this area who align with our values and are looking for the challenge, excitement and rewards of running their own business are encouraged to make contact."
