Robertson Construction strengthens leadership team
Robertson Construction Yorkshire & East Midlands, part of family-owned construction, infrastructure and support services company Robertson Group, has strengthened its leadership team with two senior appointments, promoting Sean Woodcock to operations director and appointing Ben Brown as commercial director.
With a geographic reach across Yorkshire and the East Midlands, both will support high-profile projects across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, research and social care sectors.
Current schemes include the £19 million Bradford Royal Infirmary Endoscopy Unit; RAAC replacement work at Airedale Hospital; a £20 million Extra Care Scheme in Cleckheaton; and a £10 million Engineering & Life Sciences Facility at Chesterfield College.
Sean, who joined Robertson a year ago as operations manager, brings over 20 years of experience, having held roles at Buckingham Group and Miller Construction.
He said: “Stepping into the role of operations director gives me the chance to build on the strong progress made in the past year.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers, supply chain and wider team to continue to deliver high-quality projects across a range of sectors.”
Ben joins from BAM, where he progressed from trainee surveyor to commercial manager over 24 years.
Ben added: “I’m joining Robertson at an exciting time, with a strong pipeline, new projects underway, and an expanding portfolio of key customers.
“This opportunity is a great one and I look forward to building on this success.”
Jonathan Sizer, regional managing director, Robertson Construction Yorkshire & East Midlands, added: “Sean and Ben’s combined wealth of experience and leadership will be instrumental in reinforcing Robertson as a trusted partner of choice while strengthening our regional presence.
“These appointments complement our high-performing team and come at the start of a busy year with successful quality project handovers and new work secured across key sectors.
“We look forward to continuing this momentum.”
