Vp plc appoints non-executive director
Equipment rental specialists Vp plc have appointed Richard Smith as a non-executive director.
He will succeed Phil White, who will retire from the board on 30 June 2025.
Richard, former chief executive of Unite Group plc, brings extensive leadership experience, having led Unite into the FTSE 100.
He previously held senior roles at National Express and was a non-executive director at Industrials REIT plc.
Richard is also currently chair of Southampton Solent University.
Jeremy Pilkington, chairman of Harrogate-based Vp plc, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Richard to the board.
“He brings considerable experience to Vp and we look forward to working with him to maintain the company’s robust stewardship.”
