Breck builds momentum with 250-home target
A property developer is expanding its footprint with plans to deliver more than 250 homes in the next year.
Lancashire-based Breck, which delivered 240 homes in its past financial year, says it will surpass that number as it continues to grow.
Bosses at the housebuilder, which partners with registered affordable housing providers while developing open-market and specialist projects, say it will be growing across the North of England and “particularly into Yorkshire”, where it has agreed terms on three development sites.
Andy Garnett, director, said: “We have developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality affordable housing developments to address the demand across the North West.
“As part of our continued growth, we will be expanding further across the North in 2025, particularly into Yorkshire, where we have agreed terms on three development sites totalling over 120 homes.
“Planning permissions are expected to be lodged on all three sites by March 2025.
“In addition to our affordable housing division, we are also planning to grow our open market development arm, and are currently looking for land with strong development potential for ten to 50 homes.”
He added Breck has a development pipeline of more than 1300 homes and is currently on-site at five locations, including affordable housing projects in Winsford and Crewe, Cheshire.
New schemes in Preston and Middlewich are also set to begin this year.
