E-commerce fulfilment firm packs in record growth
A fulfilment firm has recorded its most successful year after a surge in client wins and peak-season demand.
e2b, which provides services for FMCG brands, grew by 22 per cent in 2024, securing partnerships with major names such as Gymkhana, Impossibrew, Knoops, MOJU and Curators.
The Aylesbury firm, which operates from a 100,000sq ft warehouse in Aston Clinton, enjoyed a record-breaking Black Friday and Christmas period, completing more than 70,000 orders in the fourth quarter alone.
e2b also saw a 32 per cent uplift in peak-season orders compared to 2023, and completed more than 50,000 kitting projects for clients.
Bosses say its success was aided by a six-figure investment in technology, which they say put the company in the “best place to deliver great solutions” by ensuring its “operation was as efficient as possible”.
John Ford, commercial director, said: “New business was a key driver of growth in 2024.
“We’ve made major investments in technology in recent years to ensure our operation is as efficient as possible; it enables us to provide real-time data so brands can access an accurate picture of peak season, from stock levels to dispatch times.
“We planned meticulously with the brands we worked with to ensure they were in the best possible position to attack peak season, supporting them through what can often be a tough period, and delivering an experience that was successful for all.
“Our investments in technology have ensured we are in the best place to deliver great solutions for clients and work with them to exceed expectations during peak season.”
