Hall Hill Farm takes top spot in UK awards
A County Durham farm attraction has been crowned the best in the country.
Hall Hill Farm, near Lanchester, was named ‘Large Farm Attraction of the Year’ at the National Farm Attractions Network Awards, in Blackpool.
The family-run farm, which opened in 1981, welcomed more than 100,000 visitors last year.
Led by Ann Darlington and her son Richard, the attraction offers hands-on farm experiences, while Richard’s social media posts and videos on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok have earned him and the farm a global following in excess of 400,000.
Ann said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award.
“It is fantastic recognition of all the hard work that goes into making Hall Hill Farm a special place for visitors.”
Richard added: “Winning Farm Attraction of the Year is the biggest honour in our industry.
“We’d like to thank our amazing team and our wonderful visitors for their support - we couldn’t have done it without you.”
