Bevan Brittan strengthens finance team

National law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Kerry Gibbons as a banking and finance partner in its Leeds office, marking its second senior hire of 2025.

Kerry joins from Knights and brings extensive experience in real estate, corporate, acquisition, and structured finance. 

She has a strong track record advising borrowers and lenders, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Kerry said: “I’m delighted to be joining Bevan Brittan at such an exciting time. 

“The wider business is going from strength to strength, while its fantastic track record when it comes to supporting healthcare clients speaks for itself.

“I’ve received a really warm welcome and I’m looking forward to helping my colleagues further develop the healthcare finance services that we provide.”

Her arrival follows a period of significant growth for Bevan Brittan’s healthcare finance team, which advised on projects worth more than £250 million in 2024. 

She is the latest addition to the firm’s expanding health and care practice and follows the recent appointment of pensions expert Joel Eytle in London.

Bevan Brittan, which is celebrating 10 years in Leeds, has seen 11 consecutive years of growth, with a record 13 per cent revenue increase in 2023/24.
