Knight Frank Newcastle announces senior appointment
Global real estate consultancy Knight Frank has appointed Janet Young as associate to its Newcastle office, bolstering its property asset management team.
With over 35 years’ experience in surveying, Janet joins from GFW and has previously held roles at Johnson Tucker and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
She will support the management of over 20 million square feet of commercial space across the North, working alongside partner Jason Wall.
Janet will oversee industrial estates, multi-let offices, business parks and shopping centres, including Wellington Square in Stockton and 2 St James’ Gate in Newcastle.
She said: “This opportunity arose, and I had heard good things about Knight Frank as an organisation and employer.
“The property asset management team in Newcastle is changing and growing so I hope to be able to pass on some of my knowledge to other team members to support that expansion.”
Jason added: “Property asset management is a key growth area for Knight Frank and we are expanding our services locally and nationally.
“Janet’s expertise is already proving incredibly valuable to the team.”
