Digital staffing platform comes to Manchester
A digital staffing platform is expanding into Manchester as demand for flexible workers rises across the North West.
Coople, which was founded in Switzerland in 2009 and moved to London in 2016, will launch in Manchester in March.
Bosses say the platform, which is already used by 450,000 flexible staff in the UK, will “redefine workforce flexibility” by helping businesses “instantly access high-quality, pre-vetted” hospitality, retail and office staff, providing cover for anything from a matter of months to a single shift.
They add that with hospitality turnover rates at 52 per cent and thousands of businesses struggling with labour shortages, the platform offers companies a way to scale workforces “effortlessly”.
Rufus Hood, vice president and general manager UK at Coople, said: “Manchester is a powerhouse for retail, hospitality and logistics – industries where flexible staffing isn’t just a convenience, but a game-changer for success.
“Our expansion ensures businesses can instantly access high-quality, pre-vetted workers while giving people more control, freedom and opportunity in how they work.
“With our seamless digital platform, backed by real human support, businesses can scale effortlessly.
“This expansion is a commitment. We are bringing our full energy, passion and expertise to Manchester, working tirelessly to empower businesses, create more job opportunities and redefine workforce flexibility.”
