Electrical firm sparks growth and local support
A Sunderland-based electrical wholesaler is expanding its operations while strengthening ties with the local community through apprenticeships and charitable support.
Edmundson Electrical Sunderland has welcomed Phil Goodfellow to its senior team, bringing more than 30 years' sales experience.
The company is also investing in the next generation by fast-tracking apprentices Oliver, Courtney and Mia, who have excelled in their Electrical Distributors’ Association training.
Andy O’Hair, branch manager at Edmundson Electrical Sunderland, said: “Through hands-on learning and ongoing support, we ensure apprentices are equipped with both the practical knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.”
Meanwhile, the company continues to give back to the local area, making donations and offering sponsorships to the likes of Sunderland Foodbank, Wearmouth Boxing Club, Pallion Action Group and Silksworth Cricket Club.
Andy added: “We’re proud of how far we’ve come in a relatively short time.
“Our focus on training apprentices, supporting local charities and building robust supplier relationships not only reflects our core values but also drives our growth and success in Sunderland and beyond.”
