Lichfields ‘marks important milestone’ with expansion
A planning consultancy is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a move to larger offices.
Lichfields’ Thames Valley office, which has operated from the Apex Plaza in Reading for the past decade, is more than doubling its office space in the building to accommodate its expanding team.
Led by Daniel Lampard, the team has grown five-fold since 2015, and has played a key role in flagship projects such as LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Berkeley Homes’ Horlicks factory redevelopment and Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons hotel and restaurant.
Daniel, head of Lichfields’ Thames Valley office, said: “We’re excited to move into a larger space as part of our continued growth.
“The new office reflects our expanding team and increasing client base, and it marks an important milestone as we celebrate a very successful decade in the region.
“We’ve seen consistent growth over the past ten years, not only in terms of headcount but also in the scale of the projects we’re involved in.
“With key appointments and senior promotions, we look forward to continuing to support our clients with their ambitions and further growth.”
Following recent planning policy changes, the firm is set to support further developments in housing, data centres and major infrastructure projects.
Daniel added: “The updates to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) are creating opportunities for growth and innovation across the Thames Valley, particularly in housing, and also driving forward key infrastructure and regeneration projects that are reshaping the region.”
Lichfields, founded in 1962, has nine regional offices across the UK, including the Thames Valley office.
Its other bases are located in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol and London.
