SLR Consulting appoints transport lead
Global sustainability consultancy SLR Consulting has expanded its UK transport and mobility planning team with the appointment of Patrick Hebbard as senior technical discipline manager.
Bringing nearly 25 years of experience in civil engineering and transport planning, Patrick has worked across the UK and South Africa, leading strategic planning, commercial operations and cross-sector integration.
He joins from Royal HaskoningDHV, where he held senior roles including interim head of development planning and commercial director for mobility.
Based in London, Patrick will oversee the strategic planning and commercial performance of SLR’s UK transport division, focusing on growth and team development.
Patrick said: “SLR has an excellent reputation in the environmental and transport industries, and I have already been impressed by the high quality of work and diligence in caring for clients I have witnessed since joining the team.
“It’s a pleasure to be on board and to be part of such a dynamic team.
“It’s an exciting time for the sector and I’m looking forward to continuing to innovate in vision-led planning, creating vibrant and sustainable communities, something which SLR is a leader in.
“Recent changes to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) mean we need to be agile as a team, and I’m excited to work with our people to deliver the high-quality work SLR is known for.”
Mike Axon, global director of transport at SLR, added: “Patrick’s expertise in transport and mobility planning is highly valued, so he will be a real asset to us at SLR.
“We know he’s committed to developing teams with a people-centred approach and we’re looking forward to working together to continue SLR’s growth.”
