Virtuoso QA appoints new CFO

AI-powered test automation firm Virtuoso QA has appointed Will Brown as chief financial officer to support its growth strategy.

A chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience, Will has held senior finance roles across high-growth B2B SaaS businesses in the UK and Europe.

He previously led Propel, Deloitte’s start-up division, and has successfully overseen multiple funding rounds.

His past roles include chief financial officer positions at AI-powered vehicle inspection firm DeGould, cybersecurity platform Intigriti and CloudIQ, where he worked with PayPal as a partner and investor.

At Virtuoso QA, Will will focus on financial strategy, scaling operations and supporting the company’s expansion in the AI-driven software testing market.

Will said: “My passion for growth businesses began during my time working in Propel, a department within Deloitte which focused on ambitious venture-backed businesses.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the talented team at Virtuoso QA; it is clear the product is in a class of its own and the team should be really proud of what they’ve achieved so far.

“Technology doesn’t get more fast-moving than AI right now and I look forward to helping the leadership team deliver the growth this excellent company deserves.”

Derren Nisbet, chief executive, added: “I’d like to welcome Will as Virtuoso’s new chief financial officer.

“With his deep expertise in high-growth SaaS businesses, fundraising and financial strategy, Will is the perfect fit to help drive our next phase of growth.

“His sharp commercial acumen and proven ability to scale finance functions will be invaluable as we continue to build the future of AI-powered QA.”
