Pegasus Group sets scene for growth with office deal
A development consultancy has unveiled an office expansion.
Pegasus Group is taking further space at Newcastle’s Gainsborough House.
Bosses say the move, which will see Pegasus Group move into a 5380sq ft-plus base, will support recruitment plans and “act as a focal point for the expansion of its offer to the region”.
The announcement comes after the firm, which moved into Grade II-listed Gainsborough House in 2020, welcomed Dominic Waugh as senior director of planning and Eleanor Scott as senior heritage consultant.
Sandra Manson, Pegasus Group executive director – planning, said: “Gainsborough House is a great, vibrant location, and we’re delighted our ambitious expansion plans will be accommodated by investing in further space on one of the most iconic streets in the UK.
“Our commitment and investment to the new office will create a great environment for the team.
“We look forward to welcoming many new faces in the coming months, while fostering relationships with our city and development partners.”
Pegasus Group is leasing its office space from Newcastle-based Adderstone Group, which bought five-storey Gainsborough House in 2018.
Charlie Harkness, Adderstone Group’s commercial estates surveyor, said: “We’re delighted to accommodate Pegasus Group’s development and growth ambitions, and wish Sandra and the team the best of luck.”
