XPO Logistics secures Crown Paints agreement
A distribution firm has secured a decorating company contract.
XPO Logistics has sealed a deal to manage two Crown Paints warehouses.
The company is picking, preparing and packing customer orders at the coatings firm’s production sites in Darwen, near Blackburn, and Hull.
The partnership builds on an existing French distribution agreement with Crown Paints owner Hempel.
Dan Myers, XPO Logistics’ managing director – UK and Ireland, said: “Crown Paints recognises the importance of connecting to its customers through creating value in every aspect of its operation.
“Leveraging our expertise and technology, we will support Crown in delivering continuous value for its customers.”
Michael Stevens, Crown Paints UK’s head of logistics and planning, added: “Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us; it's at the heart of everything we do.
“Partnering with XPO Logistics, who specialise in sustainable logistics, will support us in achieving our net-zero goal.”
