AI investment will reshape women's healthcare

A UK-based AI-driven healthcare platform is set for expansion following fresh investment.

Leeds-based Lifted Ventures has joined the latest funding round for Anya, a digital health application providing AI-powered support for women across fertility, pregnancy, menopause, and beyond.

Combining AI chatbots, healthcare specialists, personalised content and virtual communities, Anya is able to deliver 24/7 healthcare and companionship.

Already trusted by the NHS and supporting seven million users, Anya is now expanding into the private healthcare sector, with bosses saying the funding will “accelerate” growth plans and enable Anya to “scale globally”.

Dr Chen Mao Davies, founder and chief executive of Anya, said: “Women’s healthcare has been underserved for far too long, and we’re on a mission to change that.

“At Anya, we combine cutting-edge AI with healthcare specialist support to provide women with the support they need to access the health information they need, whenever they need it in a way that suits them.

“With the backing of Lifted Ventures and other strategic partners, we’re excited to accelerate our global expansion and continue making a big difference in women’s lives.”

With £150,000 still available in the funding round, the company continues to seek additional investment to drive further growth.

Helen Oldham, co-founder at Lifted Ventures, added: “At Lifted Ventures, we are passionate about backing game-changing businesses that deliver meaningful impact.

“Anya’s AI-powered healthcare solution is transforming access to expert-led health support across critical life stages for women.

“We are thrilled to be part of their journey as they scale globally and bring their pioneering technology to even more women worldwide.”
