Running club helps men ‘unlock their potential’
A fitness group is bringing people together through a growing community running initiative.
The Training Club, a male-only fitness base in Washington, Tyne and Wear, recently hosted its second run club of the year, with 75 participants coming together for a 5K run.
More than just a fitness challenge, the event encourages connection and personal growth, welcoming partners, children and even dogs.
Collaborating with Ruhe Café and Punchy Drinks, the club aims to create a supportive, social atmosphere that extends beyond the finish line.
Ross Colquhoun, founder of The Training Club, said: “Our mission is about more than just fitness; it’s about creating a space where men can unlock their potential while surrounded by support.
“Seeing 75 people show up to run together, support each other and enjoy the sense of belonging we’re building is incredibly rewarding.”
The success of the latest event has fuelled momentum for the next run club, set for Sunday, April 6.
Starting and finishing at Training Club HQ, in Washington, the event is open to all looking to improve their fitness and join a like-minded community.
Further details and sign-ups are available on The Training Club’s social media or via buytickets.at/trainingclub/1600742.
