FCHO strengthens senior leadership team
First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) has appointed Jayne Lawson as executive director of customer experience.
Jayne started her new role at the beginning of this month, marking the latest addition to chief executive Mark Gifford's strengthened senior leadership team.
This follows the recent permanent appointment of Steve Agger as executive director of homes.
With extensive experience in the housing sector, Jayne began her career as a housing officer at the age of 16.
She has since held various roles, including in anti-social behaviour, income and financial inclusion.
Known for her ability to connect with people, problem-solve, and drive innovation, Jayne is dedicated to improving both customer and colleague experiences.
She is also the chair of the Women in Social Housing (WISH) North East Board and lives in Teesside, an area with a similar housing and community profile to Oldham.
Prior to FCHO, she worked at Anchor, England's largest provider of specialist housing and care for older people.
Jayne said: “I’m delighted to be working with Mark and the team at such an exciting time in the FCHO journey.
I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers and colleagues, using my housing and customer experience to make sure First Choice Homes Oldham is both a landlord and employer of choice.”
Mark added: “We’re delighted to have Jayne at FCHO to help drive further improvements in our customer care for the 24,000 plus people living in our 11,500 homes.
“She will be pivotal in delivering our customer experience strategy in the years to come as it leads us to a future where increasing numbers of people are proud to be FCHO customers and would recommend us as their first-choice landlord.”
