CompassRock expands with Bristol deal
A property management firm has bolstered its portfolio with a 295-home development.
CompassRock International has bought Stafford Yard.
Bosses say the Bristol-based build-to-rent scheme “will help meet demand in a dynamic market”.
The Dandara Living-delivered development includes studio, one and two-bedroom homes, and features a games room, gym, co-working space and roof terraces.
David Woodward, CompassRock chief executive, said: “We are thrilled to add this high-quality asset to our UK portfolio.
“Our property management group will run day-to-day operations, bringing our unique combination of US and UK expertise.”
Jim Davies, Dandara Living chief executive, said: “This acquisition marks another significant milestone for us.
“It is our third transaction in the last six months, underlining the continued confidence in the UK living sectors and our position as a leading specialist in the design and delivery of large-scale developments.”
CompassRock was advised by Pinsent Masons, with Dandara supported by Savills Operational Capital Markets and CMS.
William Pearce, Savills Operational Capital Markets’ associate director, added: “This deal reinforces market confidence in the UK multi-family development sector, the continued appetite for well-located, high-quality assets, and experienced delivery partners.”
