Durham’s Reef Salons set for expansion
A Durham hair salon is set to open a second location following £150,000 investment.
Reef Salons, currently based at Ramside Hall Hotel, will launch a 3616sq ft “flagship” salon at Mandale Business Park, in Durham, in May.
The new space will feature a £15,000 Japanese head spa, a licensed bar, workstation area, chillout zone and a private area for clients needing discretion.
The expansion, supported by local contractors, will initially create ten jobs.
Joanne Clift, owner of Reef Salons, said: “I’m delighted to announce the opening of the second salon; I have had this idea for many years.
“It's exciting to see it unfold at long last.
“It promises to be different to anything else ever seen in the region, as well as enabling us to expand our services to existing and new clients.”
