VenueScanner expands with America move
An events-focused tech firm has expanded across the Atlantic.
VenueScanner has launched in New York City.
The London firm says the move will tap into an events industry eight times larger than its UK counterpart.
The business uses technology to connect event planners with new spaces, and counts Amazon, Meta and Google as clients.
And bosses say its US expansion will match organisers, businesses and individuals with “Instagram-worthy venues that go beyond traditional hotel conference rooms”.
Rebecca Kelly, VenueScanner co-founder and chief executive, said: “The demand for unique, unforgettable event spaces has never been greater.
“The US market is the biggest in the world, and independent planners need a seamless way to discover mid-market and stylish venues.
“We’re here to showcase the independent spaces that create unforgettable moments.”
She added further US launches are planned for later in the year.
