The LK Group launches structural survey arm

Geo-environmental consultancy and contractor The LK Group, headquartered in Manchester and with further offices in Swindon, Liverpool and Glasgow, has strengthened its capabilities with the launch of LK Structures, a dedicated structural survey arm designed to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry. 

The new service addresses key industry shifts, including the introduction of the Building Safety Act and an increasing focus on retrofitting and maintaining existing buildings.

The expansion is further supported by several key new appointments, including Andy Kuehl as director of LK Structures. 

Andy brings extensive experience in structural engineering, specialising in building inspections, structural appraisals and remedial work. 

His expertise will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive assessments to clients across the construction sector.

Andy said: “LK Group is a solutions-driven business, and LK Structures has come out of a direct need to serve the growing needs of the group’s client base.   

“I’m excited to play a vital role in this next chapter, working closely with the team and LK Group’s existing partners to ensure the structural viability of projects for our clients nationwide.”  

Andy’s appointment follows the recent hiring of a new director, associate director and remediation manager, which marks a significant expansion of the team at The LK Group.

The LK Group now boasts a workforce of over 50 employees, providing geo-environmental consultancy and contractor services nationally. 

The launch of LK Structures further positions the firm as a leader in delivering integrated solutions in response to industry changes.
