VaynerMedia EMEA strengthens influencer team
VaynerMedia EMEA, based in London and Amsterdam, has appointed Esme Rice to lead its regional influencer marketing team, strengthening its established influencer practice.
Esme joins from Mindshare, where she was worldwide influencer practice lead, and has held senior roles at Tallify and The Goat Agency.
Named among the Top 30 trailblazing women in Influencer Marketing 2023, she has contributed to publications such as The Drum and Forbes and spoken at industry events including Influencer Marketing World.
Esme said: “VaynerMedia is at the forefront of digital and social growth and I’m thrilled to join the team to explore and grow the influencer opportunity.
“As attention is increasingly fragmented, influencers are leaders within their communities that can allow brands to earn trust in more ways than ever - if they know how to properly engage in the space.
“I’m fascinated by the behavioural science of influence and can’t wait to bring that mixture of science and magic to the VaynerMedia powerhouse.”
Her appointment follows the promotion of Marcus Krzastek to president, EMEA and APAC, as VaynerMedia continues to expand its influencer marketing capabilities globally.
Marcus added: “It is very exciting to strengthen our team with Esme’s appointment.
“She has been at the heart of influencer marketing for her whole career, at a time when it has exploded and become the forefront of how global brands capture consumer attention.
“She’s a perfect fit for our model and we are excited to keep up the growth and momentum in our EMEA offices.”
