Hoxton Wealth establishes Liverpool base
A global wealth management firm has expanded into the North West with a new Liverpool office.
Dubai-headquartered Hoxton Wealth, which oversees £2 billion in assets for 7000 clients, has chosen Avenue HQ Mann Island, on the Liverpool Waterfront, as its regional base.
The office, led by UK managing director Jonathon Jay, will offer financial services to a diverse client base, including sports professionals and rural businesses.
Jonathon, who previously spent over six years as an associate director at Investec Wealth & Investment UK’s Liverpool office, said: “There is a massive opportunity for an ambitious business like Hoxton in Liverpool, because apart from us - no-one is really grabbing the bull by its horns, in terms of lifestyle financial planning.
“Our mission is simple: we empower our clients to achieve their financial goals with confidence and clarity.”
The Liverpool team currently has 14 members, with bosses saying they have plans to double the workforce by the end of 2025, as the firm grows its presence in the region.
Jonathan added: “This year we are aiming to grow the team we have at our Liverpool office from 14 to 30 colleagues – and it’s very exciting to be a part of that.”
Chris Ball, chief executive of Hoxton Wealth, which also has offices in London, Sydney, Texas, Larnaca and Mexico City, added: “Jonathon’s become a vital, driving force behind our rapid expansion in the UK.
“Opening an office in a city like Liverpool, that he knows so well and that is still something of a sleeping giant in the financial services sector, is proving to be an incredible opportunity for us.”
