RWO engineers growth with positive outlook
An engineering firm is celebrating a year of growth following a surge of new work.
RWO, a civil, structural and geoenvironmental engineering company with offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Stokesley and London, has achieved a 20 per cent revenue increase in FY2025, bringing its turnover to £3.5 million.
The company, which supports national developers, contractors and local authorities, providing engineering support from feasibility through to construction, has enjoyed a “busy” last 12 months, in which it has strengthened its workforce with new skilled engineering talent and has reorganised its operations.
With key projects spanning data centres, education and police facilities, RWO’s diverse portfolio has set the firm on track to reach £4 million in revenue in 2026, with bosses saying the company has plans to expand its project base and continue recruiting to fuel its growth.
Ross Oakley, managing director of RWO, which counts the likes of Vistry Group, Karbon Homes, Bellway Homes, Barratt Developments, Cloud HQ and Vantage among its client list, said: “We continue to remain focused on delivering high quality services following a realignment of operations, all backed by unsurpassed experience and project management expertise to deliver the services clients require.
‘We have further strengthened our order book and expanded our service offering, boosting the foundations of our business – all supported by a dedicated and skilled team.
“We expect to see increased volumes of work across all sectors but especially in important residential and data centre markets as clients continue to invest and push on with their projects to meet government targets for housing and the growing use of AI and data driven technologies.”
