Partnership just the tonic for Yorkshire Women

A Leeds-based design firm is strengthening its ties with Yorkshire cricket through a landmark sponsorship deal.

Design Tonic has been named the first official partner of Yorkshire Women, Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s (YCCC) women’s team.

The deal sees the company’s branding feature on the team’s playing shirts for the 2025 season, coinciding with the squad’s first professional campaign.

Tom Webster, business development manager at YCCC, said: “We are thrilled to see Design Tonic extend their partnership with us.

“This year is incredibly important for the development of women’s cricket in Yorkshire, and Design Tonic’s support in this space will certainly contribute to its continued growth.”

A long-time YCCC supporter, Design Tonic has previously led multiple refurbishment projects at Headingley Cricket Ground.

The firm also co-founded The Opening Partnership, a networking series connecting the local business community through cricket.

Amanda Cook, director of Design Tonic, added: “It is a privilege to support Yorkshire Women and be the first ever official kit sponsor for the team as they embark on their first season.

“As a business, we are passionate about sport and our beloved home county of Yorkshire, so it’s wonderful to be able to combine both of these loves and get behind Yorkshire Women in this way.

“We are delighted to have been a club partner at YCCC for the last five years, and we are looking forward to further building on that relationship and wish Yorkshire Women a fantastic season ahead.”

Kayleigh Hallas, partnerships services manager at YCCC, added: “To see our partnership develop in the way it has with Design Tonic over the course of five years has been incredibly rewarding.

“It’s a great example of a local business that is happy to support the club at what is an exciting juncture for the game across Yorkshire.”
