Tech firm unveils jobs plan after £530,000 backing
A technology firm has secured a funding boost to fuel expansion plans.
Bombiix is creating jobs and targeting new customers after £530,000 backing from Finance Yorkshire.
Bosses say the cash will help the Hessle-based operator add to its five-strong team and “strengthen its marketing campaign”.
The business provides product lifecycle management software that helps brands and SMEs develop product readiness for market, and counts Smiffys, Rubies, Radley and Joanie Clothing as clients.
Lucy Blackley, who launched Bombiix nearly a decade ago, said: “Our solution takes brands and SMEs from concept and product development through to production and beyond.
“It groups everything in one place and creates a single source of truth for users’ product workflows and data, demonstrating transparency and sustainability.
“We were ready to grow when we approached Finance Yorkshire – the investment will help us capture more customers and strengthen our marketing campaign.”
Alex McWhirter, Finance Yorkshire chief executive, added: “Lucy’s knowledge and experience of product lifecycle management has enabled her to build a solution fully focused on the product.
“We are pleased to support her and the team to reach a wider client base.”
