Astroscale appoints four to UK advisory board
Astroscale Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Astroscale Holdings Inc., has appointed four industry leaders to its newly formed UK Advisory Board to support its growth in satellite servicing and orbital sustainability across the UK and Europe.
The new board members include Richard Franklin, a specialist in defence and aerospace; Rachel Gardner-Poole, an expert in aviation and aerospace; Ian Annett, a leader in telecommunications and space; and Stuart Martin, a respected strategist in the space sector.
The appointments come as Astroscale continues to expand its footprint in the UK and Europe, focusing on satellite servicing and addressing the growing issue of space debris.
Nick Shave, Astroscale UK’s managing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard, Rachel, Ian and Stuart to the Astroscale team.
“With their extensive experience and distinguished contributions across multiple industries and in government roles, they will offer important advice to me and my senior leadership team as part of the Astroscale UK Advisory Board.
“We look forward to benefiting from their significant expertise and insights to support our growth as we continue to mature as a major force within the UK and European space industry.”
