Monumental brunch offering in Newcastle
A North East experience provider is offering locals and visitors the chance to see the city from new heights – and enjoy brunch with a twist.
Newcastle-based New Adventures has launched ‘Brunch with the Earl’, combining a rare opportunity to climb to the top of Grey’s Monument with a globally inspired meal at Banyan restaurant.
Running monthly from May to September, the £23 per person experience includes a guided tour, 164-step climb and panoramic views across Grey Street to the Quayside.
Led by Newcastle City Guides, the event offers exclusive access to one of the city’s most iconic but best-kept secrets, including insight into Earl Grey, who was Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834 and famous for passing the Great Reform Act of 1832.
New Adventures also offers other unique experiences, including kayaking under the Tyne Bridge, whisky tasting at Ad Gefrin and food tours around Durham.
Tickets for ‘Brunch with the Earl’ are available now via newadventures.org.uk.
