Marine insurer makes splash with new artwork
A marine insurer has added a splash of creativity to its headquarters.
NorthStandard has teamed up with illustrator Lines Behind, aka James Dixon, to create artwork for its offices on Newcastle's Quayside.
The installation includes a 25-piece display on the building’s exterior and a second piece for the atrium, celebrating NorthStandard’s heritage, regional roots and global presence, while also highlighting its charitable partnerships.
Paul Jennings, managing director of NorthStandard, said the mural forms part of broader efforts to modernise and refresh the firm’s brand identity.
Paul said: “We were delighted to work with James as part of our renovation project and he has brilliantly captured so much about what makes us NorthStandard.
“These renovations were not just about creating an environment that people wanted to work in, it was to help people know who we are and that we are a part of the North East.
“James’ illustrations will help people trace our history and better understand the part shipping plays in our everyday lives.”
James' NorthStandard work builds on previous partnerships with organisations including Greggs, Fenwick and Newcastle United.
