Nexer Digital expands into Nordics

Nexer Digital, which is based in Macclesfield and Cambridge, has launched a new business unit in Stockholm and has appointed Hanna Karppi as head of digital inclusion for the Nordics.

Hanna joins with significant experience in digital strategy and transformation, having held senior roles across the sector, including at Nexer Group. 

She will lead the company’s efforts in accessibility and digital inclusion, supporting clients in improving products, services and workplaces.

Hanna said: “I am excited to help Nordic organisations with human-centred solutions, using technology to build more empowering and inclusive workplaces and accessible and intuitive digital services. 

“After working closely with Nexer Digital for over six years and seeing all the incredible work they do, I am very happy to finally be an official member of this amazing team. 

“There couldn’t be a better time to join forces to help create more inclusive and diverse workplaces." 

The Nordic expansion reflects Nexer Digital’s strategic focus on accessibility, driven by the upcoming European Accessibility Act. 

The firm will work with clients to build diverse teams and create inclusive digital experiences, in collaboration with its parent company Nexer Group AB.

Nexer Digital is also in talks with Samhall, Sweden’s state-owned inclusive employer, to explore potential partnerships. 

The move mirrors its UK work with organisations such as DISC and Microsoft.
