
Shortlist announced for G4C Awards
A North East network supporting young professionals in construction is preparing to celebrate a decade of recognising future industry leaders.
G4C North East and Tees Valley, part of Constructing Excellence, has revealed the shortlist for its tenth annual awards, set to take place on May 2 at the Hilton NewcastleGateshead.
Backed by headline sponsor Caddick Construction and category sponsors including Bowmer+Kirkland and Sir Robert McAlpine, the awards spotlight the individuals and organisations pushing progress and collaboration across the North East’s built environment sector.
The award categories are as follows:
- G4C Future Leader Award
- Trade Apprentice of the Year
- Technical Apprentice of the Year
- Student of the Year
- Trainee of the Year
- New Professional of the Year
- Mentor of the Year
- Commitment to Employee and Training Development
With a £600 million Government investment recently announced for the construction sector, the awards come at a key moment for recognising the region’s future innovators.
