KubeNet plugs into energy sector growth
An IT and connectivity firm has expanded with a takeover.
KubeNet has bought Aberdeen-based ISN Solutions, a technology firm with more than 20 years’ experience supporting clients in the energy and professional services sectors.
The deal follows a recent £2.25 million investment from Maven Capital Partners, with bosses saying it represents a “key milestone” in KubeNet’s growth strategy, which includes organic growth and a targeted acquisition strategy.
They add ISN will continue to trade under its name for a short period before full integration into the KubeNet brand, enabling the wider team to deliver more comprehensive and scalable IT and technology services to its growing client base.
Fraser Ferguson, director at Glasgow-based KubeNet, said: “The acquisition of ISN is a natural fit, bringing together two businesses with a shared customer focus.
“Bringing ISN into the group boosts our capabilities and helps us support more businesses with the kind of reliable, high-quality service we’re known for.”
Scott Davidson, managing director at ISN Solutions, added: “KubeNet’s culture and values reflects our own and our combined ambition is to expand our position in the market and become the ‘go to’ cloud and managed service provider in the north-east of Scotland and beyond.”
