Reflo kicks off partnership with The Hatters
A sustainable performance wear brand has teamed up with Luton Town FC to become its official teamwear partner.
Doncaster-headquartered Reflo will provide the club with eco-friendly, high-performance kits made from recycled materials, marking a significant shift in football sustainability.
The three-year deal, starting in the 2025-26 season, introduces Reflo’s innovative Reloop technology, allowing kits to be mechanically recycled after use, significantly reducing waste.
Officials at Luton Towen say the collaboration reflects both the club’s environmental ambitions and its forward-looking vision as it moves towards a new 25,000-seater stadium, set to be complete ahead of the 2027-28 season.
Gary Sweet, chief executive of Luton Town FC, said: “For generations, this club has been a symbol of pride and progress.
“Partnering with Reflo is a huge step forward as we look to honour our past while leading the charge toward a more sustainable future.”
Rory MacFadyen, co-founder of Reflo, added: “At Reflo, we’re on a journey to becoming the most responsible sportswear brand in the world.
“That’s why we’ve partnered with Luton Town FC, a team that shares our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and performance.
“Together, we aren’t just playing the game, we’re changing it.
“And we’re redefining what it means to wear your team’s colours.
“Every piece of kit is crafted from recycled materials, and our innovative Reloop technology makes it recyclable, meaning it won’t need to be thrown away or landfilled at the end of its season.
“Sustainability without sacrifice is possible, and the elite athletes that will wear our kit are proving that high performance and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.”
