SOLASTA® Bio expands leadership team
Glasgow-based green insecticide specialist SOLASTA® Bio has made three senior appointments to accelerate its growth in the UK and US markets.
Emma Axelson joins as chief of staff to support strategic planning and operations, while Jim Cink becomes global head of product development, based in the US.
Solito Sumulong also joins in the US as regulatory affairs manager, overseeing market registration and compliance.
The appointments follow SOLASTA® Bio’s $14 million Series A funding round and its first US patent grant as it prepares for market entry.
Shireen Davies, chief executive of SOLASTA® Bio, said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Emma, Jim, and Solito to the SOLASTA® Bio team at this pivotal moment in our company's growth.
“Their combined expertise across operations, product development, and regulatory affairs will be invaluable as we scale our operations and navigate the next steps towards bringing our unique green insecticides to market.”
