Management buyout seals consultancy’s future
A Greater Manchester-based building services consultancy is set to retain its independence following a leadership transition.
S I Sealy & Associates has completed a management buyout, with director Daniel Madden acquiring full ownership.
The move sees fellow director David Stafford step down to become a specialist advisor until his retirement in April 2026.
Daniel, a director of the company since 2016, says the transition will support a long-term growth plan, with a renewed focus on internal talent development and client service.
He said: “Staying independent, focused and strong will remain our strategy for the foreseeable future as we continue to work across all sectors.
“Key sectors like healthcare and education, where we have achieved market leadership will remain important as we attract new commercial, industrial, leisure and residential projects.
“Remaining efficient and competitive in how we deliver building services design solutions that are ahead of the curve, will keep us profitable, sustainable and people-focused.
“Our plans for growth give our fantastic team an opportunity to capitalise on our success.”
Daniel added: “David’s contribution has been instrumental in developing the company into what it is today, and I’d like to thank and congratulate him on his 40 years of dedication to the company.
“His guidance to the team and me personally, especially as we’ve planned his exit over the last few years, has been - and continues to be - incredible.”
