Rotherhill ramps up Midlands property drive

A Midlands-based commercial property firm is expanding its regional footprint following a flurry of acquisitions, refurbishments and lettings completed in early 2025.

Rotherhill has partnered with DCS 452 Limited and Nowell Spring Group Limited to acquire and refurbish a 10,000sq ft unit on Drayton Fields Industrial Estate, in Daventry, aiming to welcome a new occupier by summer.

The firm has also secured a 13,767sq ft property at North Portway in Northampton with a private joint venture partner, as well as completing a £1.065 million transformation of a 52,566sq ft site at Cosford Lane, in Rugby, having bought the site from AW Precision in 2024.

Finally, Next Plc has taken 30,000sq ft of newly refurbished space at Radar Road, strengthening the retailer’s ties to Leicestershire.

Explaining Rotherhill’s strategy, Paul Bagshaw, owner and founder of the firm, said: “We target buildings with strong fundamentals, where we can add value through refurbishment, creating high-quality products at a discount to new builds.”
