Vivly starts second phase of Shepley scheme
A West Yorkshire housing developer is continuing its expansion in one of the region’s most in-demand rural hotspots.
Huddersfield-based Vivly Living has broken ground on Phase 2 of its Knowle Grange development, in Shepley, near Huddersfield, where 52 new homes are being built following the complete sell-out of Phase 1.
The first phase, which won Best Small Housing Development at the WhatHouse Awards, included 31 stone-built homes, ranging from one bed to five beds.
Demand has soared in the Huddersfield and Holmfirth areas, recently named among the UK’s top property hotspots for their countryside feel, community character and commuter links to Leeds and Manchester.
Oliver Bottomley, associate director – land and development at Vivly Living, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve now started on site at Shepley Phase 2.
“This means we are now building fantastic range of new and much-needed homes to the community.
“These homes will be energy-efficient and offer additional garden space, providing comfortable and sustainable living for our customers.”
Samantha McGregor, assistant director, sales, at Vivly Living, added: “We are tremendously proud of our Knowle Grange development in Shepley.
“Phase 1 has proved incredibly popular, with every single house sold within 18 months.
“The Shepley development is a fantastic showcase for Vivly.
“We are very conscious of building homes with both character and individuality, which blend in seamlessly with their immediate surroundings.
“Traditional stone exteriors, combined with contemporary interiors make our properties highly prized and unique.
“We believe our acclaimed development, which has already won a number of awards, is exactly what this area needs.
“It combines starter homes, enabling young people to climb on to the property ladder, sustainability and real character and quality.
“We are very proud of what we have achieved and we are confident that we can repeat this success with Shepley Phase 2.”
