Filtronic 'set for growth' as demand fuels progress
A technology firm is primed to “exceed market expectations” after fresh contracts and factory investments bolstered its progress.
Filtronic says it will deliver higher revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in the second half of its 2025 financial year.
The bullish outlook follows the extension of a headline partnership with rocket and spacecraft operator SpaceX.
And bosses at the Sedgefield-headquartered telecoms, space and defence sector radio frequency parts maker say its momentum will continue into its 2026 financial year, with the impact of an investment in manufacturing capacity to meet rising demand matched by programmes with new and existing customers.
Nat Edington, chief executive, said: “We are very pleased with the substantial progress we've made and the positive impact it is having on our financial performance.
“The team has worked tirelessly to bring new programmes to fruition across the defence and space markets.
“Our continued investment in engineering and manufacturing has positioned us to meet growing demand, and we are confident in the trajectory of the business as we scale to capitalise on future opportunities.”
