Tech innovator Createc wins fourth King’s Award
A Cumbrian technology firm is celebrating national acclaim after securing one of the UK’s most prestigious business honours.
Cockermouth-based Createc has received the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, marking its fourth King’s Award.
The company, which employs over 60 staff and also has offices in Oxford, Tokyo and Oslo, was recognised for its steep growth in overseas sales over the past three years.
Operating across the energy, defence, security and transport sectors, Createc has ambitious plans to double its workforce and quadruple turnover to £34 million by 2029.
Will Newsom, chief executive of Createc, said: “I am exceptionally proud of our team for earning our second King’s Award for International Trade.
“This achievement highlights our commitment to innovation and excellence on a global scale.
“Our first King’s Award for Innovation was a testament to our technical creativity, and this new accolade reinforces our dedication to expanding our international reach.
“This award means an incredible amount to us as a company, and we look forward to delivering exceptional results for our clients worldwide.”
