Ophthalmology expert joins Optegra

Optegra UK has appointed Sarah Maling as strategic advisor, bringing national-level leadership in ophthalmic education.

A former chair of training for UK Ophthalmology and chair of recruitment at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Sarah also continues her clinical role at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust.

She will support Optegra’s commitment to NHS training within the independent sector, helping expand junior doctor opportunities.

Sarah said: “I have been and remain impressed with Optegra; frankly they continue to pursue excellence and prove that they can deliver it. 

“They have excellent clinical outcomes and now they want to explore how they might expand and develop further by utilising some of my experience.
