Ajuno appoints industry leader to accelerate drone adoption
Bristol-headquartered Ajuno has appointed former MakeUK chief executive Gilbert Toppin as chairman and non-executive director to support the UK’s critical national infrastructure (CNI) transformation through robotics.
A chartered civil engineer and former Deloitte board member, Gilbert brings decades of leadership in technology, innovation, and M&A.
He will work with Ajuno’s founders and senior team to focus on the ROI of drone adoption, data integration and the financial impact of robotics on UK industry.
Gilbert said: “The team at Ajuno is a privilege to work alongside, as our client CNI organisations evolve through robotics and AI.
“It’s an exciting time: drone adoption does not work on its own, wider systems and data impact needs to be addressed to get real-world business results.
“Ultimately Ajuno realises this future with automated infrastructure, a redefined emergency response, and robotic regeneration.”
Gilbert’s appointment marks a major step in Ajuno’s mission to harness drones for economic growth and modernise infrastructure across the UK.
