Armstrong Watson appoints new director
Independent accountancy firm Armstrong Watson has appointed Kerry Pearson as restructuring and insolvency director to lead the team at its Newcastle office.
Kerry brings over 30 years of experience across corporate and personal insolvency and joins from Azets, where she was a partner.
She previously spent nearly two decades at Tait Walker and is vice chair of the R3 North East regional committee.
Kerry said: “Armstrong Watson is an ambitious, growing firm with a great culture, and I’m really looking forward to strengthening what the firm has to offer.”
Kerry’s appointment strengthens Armstrong Watson’s full-service proposition in the North East and follows the recent addition of restructuring and insolvency partner Lindsey Cooper, in Manchester.
Mike Kienlen, Armstrong Watson’s chairman and head of restructuring and insolvency, added: “I am delighted that Kerry is joining Armstrong Watson to head up our restructuring and insolvency team in the North East.
“Kerry brings a huge amount of experience, knowledge and skill to the team.
“She will support the existing RI team to continue to provide clients with the right advice when they need it most.”
