Bentley strengthens North West team with senior hire

Construction consultancy Bentley has boosted its presence in the North West with the appointment of Sonia Desloges as industrial and logistics director.

Sonia brings more than 20 years of experience in quantity surveying and project management across multiple sectors. 

Lately, she has focused on the industrial and logistics sector, bringing expertise vital to Bentley’s growth in this field.

Based in Manchester, Sonia will support Bentley’s strategic growth in the North West. 

She will prioritise training, leveraging her experience as former chair of the RICS QS & Construction Professional Group (Greater Manchester) and as an APC assessor.

Sonia said: “Every project needs a 360-degree view, from start to finish, to be truly successful. 

“This is where our role as quantity surveyors and project managers becomes so pivotal. 

“This is a view that I’ve had throughout my career and one that aligns with the ethos of Bentley. 

“From continued coordination, to understanding viability and adaptability of projects, it’s our role to stay proactive and act as that consultative force on the journey to success.” 

“Both through its headquarters in the East Midlands, to the expanding team in the North West, it was clear to me that this holistic approach that is engrained at Bentley is something I wanted to be a part of and would allow me to utilise my expertise across sectors and specifically the industrial and logistics sector, to support growth even further.”
