B&M names new chief executive
B&M has appointed Tjeerd Jegen as chief executive, effective from June 16, following a global search.
He succeeds interim chief executive Mike Schmidt and brings more than 25 years of international retail leadership, with previous roles at Ahold, Tesco, Woolworths, HEMA and Takko Fashion.
Tjeerd said: “I'm honoured to join one of Europe’s leading value retailers at such a pivotal time.
