Creative-first social agency Buddy Media has appointed Nik Marinkovic as its first-ever creative director.
Nik will lead the agency’s creative vision, ensuring work aligns with strategic goals across all clients.
He joins from Edelman UK, where he was the first social creative director, delivering campaigns for brands including HARIBO, PayPal and Heineken.
His previous roles include creative leadership at The Game for BMW at events such as Coachella and Cannes.
Nik said: “Buddy Media’s commitment to creativity within social truly resonates with me.
“As someone who’s chronically online, always tuned into the latest trends and immersed in pop culture, I’m excited to bring that energy to the team and push the boundaries of social-first content.
“My focus is on creating work that doesn’t just get noticed but truly connects with audiences.”
Sam Budd, chief executive and founder of Buddy Media, added: “Bringing Nik on board is a pivotal step in pushing our creative ambition to the next level.
“His leadership will amplify the impact of our campaigns, ensuring they don’t just capture attention but spark cultural conversations and drive real results for our clients.”
