Esh launches ‘landmark’ Darlington development
A North East housebuilder has launched a premium collection of new homes in Darlington.
Homes by Esh has unveiled two show homes – The Nightingale and The Brunel – at its flagship Havelock Park development, located in the heart of Blackwell Grange.
The 44-home scheme features four, five and six-bedroom executive homes, with prices starting from £649,995.
Part of Esh Group, the developer has named its house types after 19th century historical pioneers, with additional house types including The Wordsworth, The Austen and The Franklin.
The development includes a community orchard, wildflower meadows and restored features such as the Balancing Pond, while each property incorporates eco-friendly measures including solar panels, air source heat pumps and EV charging points.
Colin Willetts, Homes by Esh’s deputy managing director, said: “The launch of the show homes at Havelock Park marks an exciting time for everyone connected to Homes by Esh.
“These homes represent a landmark moment for the team as we raise the bar in blending industry-leading building standards with our unique design and home stylings.”
“The designs of these homes aren’t typical for a new build – they take inspiration from the 19th century pioneers of the arts and crafts movement and existing homes around Darlington’s West End.
“We’re proud to be delivering homes with such design detail while also incorporating the latest features to reduce energy consumption, water usage and waste.”
Sales are now live, with viewings available from Saturday, May 17.
