Agency gives charities a helping hand
A Newcastle-based marketing company is pledging time and talent to support good causes across the North East.
Who’s Listening will offer ten hours each month to a different local charity, providing marketing support or rolling up their sleeves to help with anything from admin to events.
The initiative begins in June, with charities invited to apply through the agency’s website.
Known for its straight-talking campaigns, Who’s Listening says this is part of a broader effort to give back – following its recent launch of free masterclasses and a new sponsorship deal with South Shields FC.
Shane Gammage, managing director of Who’s Listening, said: “We’re lucky to work with amazing clients across the UK, but the North East is where we live and work, and it’s important for us to give something back.
“Whether it’s offering our skills or just showing up to help, this is about doing something useful each month for organisations that do so much for others.
“This isn’t about publicity – it’s about purpose.
“If we can donate time that makes someone’s day easier, helps an event run more smoothly, or gives a charity a bit of breathing room, that’s a win.
“We’re open-minded about how we help, and we want to hear from charities who could use the support.”
