Architects take 'important step' with office move
An architecture firm is expanding its regional presence with a new studio at Leeds Dock, as momentum builds across its UK projects.
P+HS Architects has moved from Albion Street into a larger space in the city, aligning with its ongoing expansion and coinciding with UKREiiF.
Bosses say the new studio will “enhance” the firm’s offer across West Yorkshire and provide “the best environment” for its team to thrive.
The opening was marked by a visit from Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, who hosted a housing roundtable with key sector leaders at the new office.
James Almond, managing director at P+HS Architects, said: “Our new office at East Dock places us in the heart of the city’s creative district and allows us to enhance our offer across West Yorkshire while supporting our growing capability to deliver nationally.
“This is an important step forward for us.
“It’s not just about having more space, but about giving our team the best environment to support the outstanding work we are passionate about delivering.
“We know better than most how the places we work in influence how we work, so being based in a vibrant, waterside location like Leeds Dock offers an inspiring setting to do just this.”
Nathan Spencer, managing director of UKREiiF, added: “It’s great to have such a brilliant business with an excellent reputation moving to an iconic building and area of Leeds.
“I see this as a really important office move for Leeds Dock and one that will continue to see the space rejuvenate and thrive.”
Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, P+HS Architects, which also has offices in Newcastle, Manchester and Stokesley, North Yorkshire, employs more than 120 people and is known for its work across healthcare, housing and modern construction methods.
