Valouran adds five to senior team
Global property developer and placemaker Valouran has strengthened its leadership team with five senior hires, bringing a wealth of experience from major names in residential, hospitality and commercial development.
Richard Shaw joins as managing director – head of development after delivering landmark London schemes including Fitzroy Place and The Whiteley.
Richard Luffingham, formerly of Grainger and The Whiteley, has been appointed development director, while Derek Mackenzie steps in as commercial director following senior roles with Mace, Mount Anvil and Berkeley St Edward.
Hospitality design expert Dani Charleson-Gallacher has also joined as senior design manager, having previously led hotel development at Merlin Entertainments and Starwood Capital.
Finally, Sarah Campbell, formerly head of marketing at The Whiteley and Knight Frank, becomes marketing director.
The appointments follow Valouran’s move to new headquarters in London’s West End and signal continued momentum across its growing UK development portfolio.
Matthew Robertson, co-founder of Valouran, said: “Having launched Valouran in 2023, we have now reached a pivotal juncture, with a growing pipeline of projects, that requires us to expand our best-in-class team.
“We are honoured to welcome such a talented group of individuals.
“Their expertise in successfully delivering landmark projects gives us every confidence that they will uphold the calibre and high standard of work that we deliver at Valouran.”
